So, I've been trying to run this demo for awhile now, just got new hardware:
AMD Radeon RX 6600
AMD Ryzen 3600 5-Core

Those are the parts I upgraded.
But since the upgrade, I've been unable to run the demo, it gives this error:
image.png
(In case this fails to embed: VertexBuffer->Lock:DDERR_SURFACELOST)

And I cant seem to run it in a XP VM in VirtualBox (Not tried VMWare yet as of 12:02 PM)
I mostly want to just rip the models used in the demo, so if anyone knows how to either help me get this running, or how to rip the models/textures from the data, please let me know, I've been trying this for awhile with no success.

Try with dgVoodoo2.

VirtualBox drivers for 3D aren't up to the mark, even I can't ascertain for VMware ones how good they are. I would avoid VBox for anything 3D, in case you are using it.

I think I already did but sure, how do I set it up?

Install VMware, get a Windows media, and install windows. Then install the VMware drivers.

Don't know if DGVOODOO2 works on VBox, it works somewhat on VMware. But it works very well on real hardware. Open the archive, go to x86 folder of MS, and copy ddraw.dll and d3dimm.dll to the folder containing the executable of the demo
