VOGONS

I just got Munt working on my Windows XP machine and I think it's working on DOSBox as well (after having set MT-32 Emulator as my MIDI device through the Control Panel). however, I've been testing it with some games like Nova 9 by Dynamix - the sound effects don't seem quite right. Volume doesn't seem to glide as smoothly as it usually does, and some effects (like the service lift raising, and the warning buzzer when you're about to explode) are just completely wrong.

I have to wonder - have I not set the emulator up the right way, or is this a known issue involving SysEx commands? I remember reading that SysEx was not yet supported and I wonder if that's the cause...

The game is set to use MT-32, yes. The game is set up exactly as it is on my "legacy" system with a real MT-32.

Don't expect too much from Munt, it's largely experimental for the moment.
