Well since it started with other machine sound hardware pre-history it missed the NoiseMaker for S100 bus http://www.s100computers.com/Hardware%20Folde … /Noisemaker.htm which I thought I had read before was late 70s but not noted there.
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

The scope of the article was limited to IBM PC compatibles. I would like to write other articles later covering other expandable platforms, though, so I've made a note of that card. Thanks. 🙂
