So i want to make programs inside dosbox , i want to know if i can install qbasic and run it , compiling a program or simply make a simple bas program in a text editor and run with dosbox.

I found great games for Dos in some websites but they have installation exes for windows and not for dos. and what do i need to look for evading that problem?
Does anybody knows of a website where i can find educational business or scientific programs in dos. i found that all of you all only talk about are games and consoles. it's deppresing.
