I've been having issues with graphics card compatibility with this motherboard. So I want to flash it to the latest BIOS, which is supposed to fix the issues. It being an OEM motherboard I can't find the exact BIOS. I was wondering if one of the BIOS's off the Gigabyte website would work. As I have only flashed BIOS's for the exact motherboard I'm flashing. I'm pretty shore it would work but I'm just checking with you guys.

If there isn't any visible difference on the retail board (like missing Silicon Image controller) vs the Packard Bell board, you can safely go ahead and flash Gigabyte's retail BIOS.

That, and I recall Packard Bell/NEC's mainboards of that era being retail mainboards with a slightly less featured BIOS.

Thanks for your reply. The board looks like the GA-K8N-SLI but with firewire, and It doesn't have the dual BIOS of the Pro.
