I've inherited am almost mint condition 8100 but it has a couple vertical lines in the screen and a few rows at the very bottom not displaying right. I've checked the internal connection which improved some noise it was having. Testing on an external LCD shows no issues at all. So my question is which Dell models can I source a replacement LCD from, 9100,etc?

If there is 15" 1600x1200 or 1400x1050 pix, same was on Latitude C810, 840 too.

I have a Precision M50 on the way. I will attempt to swap the Quadro4 700 Go GL and the UltraSharp UXGA screen into my 8100 when it arrives. I have a much greater desire for a Tualatin than any P4 and not to mention the 8100 belonged to my old man.

Have both platforms (P4Northwood@1.8 and P!!!Tualatin@1.13 with GF4 440Go and GF2 Go) and I can say, Tully is almost so powerfull like Northwood, but way ahead effective, cool and quiet.
