what version of the registered monster bash (episodes 2 & 3) does this trainer require? and does dosbox interfere with the CTRL+1 and CTRL+2 key combinations?

does it require that special prefeth core or what ever it was?

CTRL-1 and -2 aren't treated any special by dosbox.
Does it crash or just not work?

simply does nothing, but in commander keen 4, it does partly what it says it does, it flash's the screen green when the keys are used but there is still no actual impact on the game.
