I was testing my recent acquired socket 7 HX SBC board as I don't want K6-2 400 which came with this SBC. Since I do have Pentium 266MMX CPU in the future plans for it. For now I'm testing using a unlocked 233MMX that actually runs at 133MHZ, cache working at 512K also.
The board is set up for 2.2V permanently, but I can research the VRM buck converter and reset to any new voltage and adjust the multiplier once I know. It is done with SMD resistors (they're marked).
Have anyone played with pentium MMX at less than 2.8V like I have done at 2.2V? Runs very cool.
Have to test more later once I set it up with hard ware and put heatsink on it. Socket is different so I have to rework one of my heatsinks to hook on correctly.
