This is a wacky question and I apologize if this is not the right place to post this question, I am new here, but I just learned today about the Intel Inboard386 SBC that was made for IBM 5150 machines and it got me thinking... could it work in a Tandy 1000??

I have the EX model so I know there's no room for the card, but if I buy (or make) an ISA extension cord and have the card outside of the case would it work??

And if it would, that leads into my second question. Would one of those 486 SBCs work in it as well?? I know it's a 16bit ISA card, but I heard that some 16bit ISA cards work in 8bit ISA slots. Just wondering if it would work.

I desperately want to run Doom on my Tandy just to say "It runs Doom"
