Awesome. Thanks for the links, everyone.
Not sure how well known this channel is, but I didn't see anyone mention Noel's Retro Lab.

Just discovered this guy https://www.youtube.com/@oldertechtoday seems more like "middle aged" hardware you might say, but some of the trailing edge appears to overlap what some are calling retro already.
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.
Not sure if this is counted as a small channel, but it's one I never see mentioned here:
https://www.youtube.com/@vwestlife
I don't think he posts on Vogons (?), but he used to be active on VCF.

Necroware and CPUGalaxy are indeed great.
Here's a couple of good ones I've found lately:
https://www.youtube.com/@TechTangents
https://www.youtube.com/@pc-sound-legacyThe latter is a 'no frills' "listen and make up your own mind" kind of channel... something I find very useful sometimes.
TechTangents actually streams on twitch quite regularly. If you like his content, I'd advice you to follow his twitch channel if you happen to also be active there.

andre_6 wrote on 2023-05-28, 16:34:This channel is becoming one of my favorites too, adequately paced diagnostics and repair of retro PCs, very well edited and you don't even notice time going by, I think it will grow considerably: https://www.youtube.com/@miketech1024
ah yes I've been watching this channel too, very meticulous and complete - everything that can be rescued is rescued, a little bit like necroware in terms of technical depth
This channel was actually recommended to me recently. Was pleasantly surprised 🙂

Meanwhile this can probably be regarded as a medium-sized channel:
Victor Bart - RETRO Machines
https://www.youtube.com/@victorbartThe first video I've seen on his channel was this one:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7oJMmW7j8
"We went to a 90's Lan Party in 2020"In case you've seen Linus' video on the Quantum3D Voodoo SLI-card you will recognize the guy a 9:08
@Kekkula : I like this idea. How about you include all the suggestions in you initial post to have them together in one complete list?
VictorBart has some fun videos . He's not the most technical, but he's very enthusiastic about his hobby. Kinda jealous of his Voodoo 5 9000 (no just kidding 😋).
jtchip wrote on 2023-05-28, 23:51:https://www.youtube.com/@HighTreason610 Some reviews of less common stuff including PC/104 and embedded PCs
HighTreason is straight to the point. I like it! His best video imo is actually not at all about PCs, but about a (Dutch) cartoon series from the late 80's early 90's (Alfred J Kwak) and as a Dutch person I think the way he explained himself, I was thoroughly impressed! Really good. I still watch that video from time to time.
I don't think I have skills/time to collect all links to the first post...
But lets add more links 😁
https://www.youtube.com/@AndersNielsenAA - Very technical videos
... had more links but noticed that channels were quite big, like therasteri, gadketuk164 and theretrochannel 🙁
I don't think Pixel Pipes was mentioned so far: https://www.youtube.com/@PixelPipes
Great channel with a focus on testing retro graphics cards.
https://www.youtube.com/@bbishoppcm Unscripted, sometimes interesting rambling, sometimes about non-computer stuff. Still an interesting video once in a awhile.
https://www.youtube.com/@THEPHINTAGECOLLECTOR Just found this guy while looking for information on Xenix.
Gotta say I do enjoy this guys videos. He is funny and knows his stuff. Mostly retro console repair he has a second channel for extra content.

If you're interested in PC-98 computers and Macs then there's this channel. Which is Japanese but the videos are not speaking and are instead fully subtitled, Youtube can translate this very consistently: https://www.youtube.com/@oldmac.pc-98/videos
I find his videos fun to watch since they've got a rather unique visual style while still being quite technical 😀 I'm less interested in Macs but like those videos too regardless. The PC-98 videos are fascinating though since they're cool looking computers that are hard & expensive to get outside of Japan.

For Japanese computers there's also this channel: https://www.youtube.com/@lukemorse1
It's filmed very casually but it features complete sets with original monitors (Pc-98, Sharp X68000, Fujitsu FM Towns, MSX...), original arcade machines, etc. He's been in Japan for 20 years and has amassed a huge collection of stuff that he repairs and maintains
Similar but based in the US: https://www.youtube.com/@obsoletegeek/videos
This guy seems to be a recent arrival to YouTube. He's currently going through a massive vintage haul he picked up: https://www.youtube.com/@miketech1024
TheMobRules wrote on 2023-05-27, 18:26:https://www.youtube.com/@RetroSpector78 - this channel is great, and I believe RetroSpector himself has posted quite a few times on this forum. However, no new content has been posted in almost a year after a somewhat strange video about a Voodoo 5 scam, it's as if he suddenly vanished.
He's busy doing other stuff now. Not much time spending on retro last time I heard him.
My retro collection: too much...

That's a pity. I enjoyed his channel and soothing Belgian tones

Ah I also got his channel recommended by youtube, nice content indeed!
Searching a Nexgen Nx586 with FPU, PM me if you have one. I have some Athlon MP systems and cookies.
This good very small channel needs much more viewers: https://www.youtube.com/@retrosoftwarereviews
Much like with RMC, I’m sure people know of these three, but good retro content nonetheless:
Great thread and some awesome small channel shout-outs - I've Subbed to a few I hadn't heard of on the back of these.
My recommendations of some smaller channels from the UK that haven't been mentioned yet would be:
https://www.youtube.com/@CRG Great, casual repair videos on a nice range of systems in a very down-to-earth style
https://www.youtube.com/@Yesterzine Really witty deep dives into UK Computer/Console Magazines from back in the day with plenty of great tangents.
https://www.youtube.com/@TimberwolfK Hard to sum-up, just lots of interesting topics on how certain 90's PC games work, or history of various games, to weird tangents on genres, just very well researched and scripted
https://www.youtube.com/@RoseTintedSpectrum Maybe a bit too British this one, but I find this channel's dry, self deprecating, witty humour right down my street! If you want to know what gaming felt like as a kid in the late eighties-early/mid nineties in the UK, he's yer man! Less PC stuff, more ZX Spectrum, but does the odd PC game.
schmatzler wrote on 2023-05-28, 16:09:NCommander - he's a coder and has a lot of knowlege about old architectures and systems. Regularly goes almost insane during livestreams.
Had me with at the banner picture...
Well, this is an impressive list. 🙂
Personally, I did enjoy watching Retro Snippets in the past years.
There has been some inactivity in the channel for a while, though.
Still worth a visit, though. The past videos were very well done, with lots of love and dedication.

Thanks for these links...
Thought I would watch one or two "Breaking Bad Influence" last night... ended up watching about 3 hours! ... I'm never going to be able to look at that show the same way again...
