I finally got my hands on a Slotket, and I've got it working, but only by manually setting FSB, multiplier, and voltage in the BIOS. Seemingly it won't auto-detect correctly even though the jumpers are all set for "Auto". There are jumpers that have no description on the card itself, so I'm hoping to track down a manual to make sure I've got everything set correctly.

The closest comparison I can find is here: https://pc.watch.impress.co.jp/docs/article/2 … 0418/hot141.htm

That site says it's a Soltek SL-02A++, but if I search for that I find another site reviewing that card and it looks similar but definitely different: https://www.pcstats.com/articles/1107/index.html

And on top of that, even if that is the correct model, I certainly can't seem to find a manual anywhere.

Anyway, some help would be much appreciated.

It's a 02A++ ,rather than the earlier 02A+ which doesn't support Cyrix Joshua CPUs (see jumper chart). All thats missing is the outer retention support case.

Which jumpers do you see that are unidentified, based on the charts from the PCSTATS article (ignore their card pic - its of an older version)

The attachment Soltek SL-02App Jumpers.jpg is no longer available

Far as I can find, Soltek never issued a manual beyond these charts

Which board / cpu are you using?

I'm using an Abit BH6 and a 700MHz Celeron (SL4P8).

I saw that chart on PCSTATS, but I don't think it lines up exactly. Specifically for JP8. The silkscreen on the card below the socket lists a different jumper setting for a single CPU from what the chart says. Maybe I'm being too cautious, but that difference made me think I shouldn't trust it, just in case I damage something.

Agreed , it's not particularly clear though I'd assume the silkscreen might be referring to manual settings for single PPGA Celerons or Cyrix cpus - did you try 1-2 or 2-3 on JP8? As far as the auto settings go, only other thing I can think of is that Soft Menu II is somehow messing up the slockets own jumper settings.

EDIT - meant to say, not much of relevance in the FAQ either
