Does anyone know anything about this card at all?

I have had this card sitting around for about 18 years (it is untested) and i have never been able to find anything about it. The most I can find is an Ebay listing for a Vampower 8-83 (I have attatched a screenshot of the listing) and other listings on google for the Vampower 8-83.

Looks like maybe embedded industrial systems or gaming/slot machines from DataDisplay / DisTec:
https://www.distec.de/en/products/tft-compone … troller-boards/ (page mentions a customer looking to replace a Vampower 3 board)
https://www.displaytechnology.co.uk/assets/fi … ering_flyer.pdf (page 4 shows pictures of Vampower 1 and 9)

There was a pdf document link for it on the datadisplay.de website:
https://web.archive.org/web/20030108092809/ht … /vamp8_AGP.html
but it goes to a file ( VAM8M01.pdf ) on their ftp server, which I haven't found an archive for.

Looks like they went up to Vampower 11 in 2004: https://www.electronicsweekly.com/news/produc … panels-2004-08/

No idea what the difference will be between the 8-17 (couple of Google results), 8-83 (seems to be the common one) and your 8-84.

BECKHOFF = industrial application. It was pulled from a computer sitting in some cabinet feeding an LCD, so recycler automatically priced it as something a corp tech might pay for using company credit card instead of usual scrap value

Very unremarkable card, its only differentiator is laptop graphic chipset with ability to directly drive raw LCD panels. Someone went out of his way to design bespoke graphic card in order to save $10 and potential to charge customers hundreds of dollars for spares because now its all proprietary 😀
