Trying to run Tonic Trouble non-Special Edition

After going through Rayman 2 hoops today, I found yet another UbiSoft game with lots of issues - Tonic Trouble.

The game installs, but the game is not executable. It crashes to due to some violations. There's a fix in the Rayman forums for Tonic Trouble, but it's fails in my machine where I play games, and works on my work machine. Also that fix doesn't run any videos and misses the loading screen, doesn't hook to DxWnd and some more issues.

I read some posts about someone patching the English version before which the French version worked, but I never found a link to the executable.

There were some YouTube videos that demonstrates by replacing the executable, but the links are down.

There's no GOG version to run, or use and fix. Any help for this game?

Ok, so I finally got it. I am uploading it for anyone who needs it.

SetupTT.exe has to be run once and after that, file: C:\Windows\Ubisoft\ubi.ini needs to be copied to the game folder. I also can't seem to make the game work natively in any way, and needs dgVoodoo2 to launch it.

There is a compatibility patch out there on the Rayman forums and although it included Indeo files for video playback too, they didn't work in any way even after copying the video to the game folder, not to mention there were screen transition flickers. Both these problems don't seem to occur with this executable.
