Hi brunofbrsilva,

The K6-2+ is a Dual voltage CPU, just like the regular K6-2.

Single Voltage CPUs like the original Pentium, the AMD K5, and the IDT Winchip C6, use the same voltage for Vi/o and Vcore. For Dual Voltage CPUs, Vi/o and Vcore are different. This motherboard supports both Single and Dual voltage CPUs but you have to set the JP1 jumpers for Single Voltage mode or Dual Voltage mode yourself, depending on the installed CPU.

In Dual Voltage mode, the board will keep Vi/o at 3.3V while the SW2 setting controls the Vcore.

So use the K6-2 setting for JP1: 1-3 close and 2-4 close (Dual Voltage mode) for your K6-2+.

Good evening everyone, I tried to update the BIOS, but the program returned the following message: "the Program file's part number does not match the tour system!", I am using awdflash version 8.65 in the BIOS file 5200108.bin and 5200v106.bin also

I didn't change anything, I just removed the processor and measured it, to my surprise it's showing 1.99 - 2.00.

Obs: I tested it with another multimeter with a new battery, it gave 2.01

good morning friends, starting work here, I am confused with the double voltage jumpers, the manual says that it should be 1-3 closed and 2-4 closed, I am sending a photo for friends to analyze if it is correct

Looks correct to me.

1-2
3-4
5-6

Closed: jumper over 1-3 and 2-4 like in picture.
If you are getting 2.0V it means it is correct indeed otherwise it'd be 3.3V.

This "friend" thing is starting to sound like Mr. Robot 😀
Bruno, you aren't planning to hack into E-Corp with this K6?

You’re welcome. 😀

But still one question though: What is the voltage regulator chip on this ATC-5200 board? With this knowledge I should be able to make a SW2 table with all available Vcore settings so I can help other people with this board.

Thanks, Jan

I'm sorry I just forgot, which chip do you believe it could be? I'll take a picture of him if you want.
