Hello. I can not figure out how to connect a mouse to my P5A-B board. I have a PS/2 Mini-Din 6Pin Female to 2x5 IDC Female (picture below) that I figured would plug right into one side of "USBMIR" port (pic. below). I then tried to hook the connector to the COM ports (pic. below). Can anyone help me out with this? Thanks a lot!

The pinout for USB/MIR is in the manual of the motherboard. I would check with multimeter and make sure correct pins of the ps/2 port are connected to the right pins on the header. You can already see from the wires in your picture that the wires dont match with the pinout of the header on the motherboard so that ps/2 bracket is not going to work as it is without modification.
