This community is absolutely awesome! I talked with a buddy across town and he's gonna sell me a Radeon 9600 pro for like 10 bucks. He mentioned that card had 64mb of vram.

I've never heard of a PCI 9600 Pro - if it exists, I would like one, but I think it's more likely that your friend has an AGP 9600 Pro. A working 9600 Pro would be a good deal for ten dollars, so I would still buy it and keep it for when you get something with an AGP slot.
A lot of times when you first start out on a project you think, This is never going to be finished. But then it is, and you think, Wow, it wasn't even worth it. - Jack Handey
Here is what he has. Selling me it all for 10 bucks. Looks like agp yes
I was wondering what this 'Pinball' thing is in the first photo.. Turns out it's a 56K modem 😁

Looks like a 1st gen Radeon all in wonder to me, but yes AGP... probably disappointing vs a 9600, but still worth $10
Unicorn herding operations are proceeding, but all the totes of hens teeth and barrels of rocking horse poop give them plenty of hiding spots.

Intel i810 can allocate a maximum of 32mb of system memory for graphics according to the docs.
There's a game compatibility list here: https://web.archive.org/web/20030804235929/ht … aming/82810.htm
Looks like you'd be better off with a PCI graphics card like the ones suggested.
