Okay so I have this g3 macintosh tower that I want to upgrade.

I’m going off the assumption that a radeon 9250 128 bit 256mb in the 66 mhz slot is the fastest card I can get for it. If that isn’t true, let me know.

But in any case I actually happen to have one.

I believe I’m going to have to move some resistors on the card? If so no problem, just if someone could confirm that and maybe a pic of what they did. I see a guide, but kinda wanna just make sure before doing it as I don’t wanna mess up the mac or the card.

Also, what program under what OS are you all using to flash the card?

And finally, I’m not quite sure what bios image to use, I can’t find one for a 9250 256mb do I need to edit the bios for 256 mb?

Just kinda wanna talk to people who have done it first to make sure I’m not missing something.
