Good morning, I heard that it is possible to make a mod on the tualatin pins to become compatible, does anyone know how to do it?

Are the photos in the tutorial of the socket or of the processor? if they are from the socket then there is no change in the processor?

This can be done in 3 ways.
1. Full CPU modding.
The CPU will work in any coppermine-ready motherboard
I won't repeat for sure.
2. Combined.
Two wires are wound on the CPU pins, several pins are removed from the socket.
The motherboard continues to work with Copermine; unmodded Tualatin (without wire), is booting to BIOS, but not stable at OS.
For the CPU, the mod is reversible and safe.
3. Full modification of the motherboard, includes drilling holes and sealing them with epoxy.
Fully compatible with Tualatin/Copermine.
Beautiful but hard.

4. By Tualatin with adapter or tualatin-ready slotkat.
Choose yourself.
