Good afternoon everyone, I recently acquired a SY-6VBA133 motherboard and a doubt arose, using the GA-6R7pro adapter can I use pentium III tualatin processors? thanks.

To do this, indicate your skills, level of eyesight and the presence of a multimeter and solder iron.

For an initial introduction.

This can be done in 3 ways.
1. Full CPU modding.
The CPU will work in any coppermine-ready motherboard
I won't repeat for sure.
2. Combined.
Two wires are wound on the CPU pins, several pins are removed from the socket.
The motherboard continues to work with Copermine; unmodded Tualatin (without wire), is booting to BIOS, but not stable at OS.
For the CPU, the mod is reversible and safe.
3. Full modification of the motherboard, includes drilling holes and sealing them with epoxy.
Fully compatible with Tualatin/Copermine.
Beautiful but hard.

4. By Tualatin with adapter or tualatin-ready slotkat.
Choose yourself.
