I have a very small table, and I've been using just a cardboard box under the motherboard.
Howeved, I'd like to place both a floppy and an optical drive beneath motherboard to save some space.
After a quick googling, these seem quite pricey.
At the moment, I've got four motherboards waiting for a recap and it's always a hassle if nothings bolted down to anything

Tabletop area is at a premium, but I do have free height.

What do you use, or what would you recommend?

The Lian Li looks pricey, if even available, albeit very nice.

I'm considering building this
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4728220 which seems to get the job done as well, but of course, it requires access to a 3D printer ...

If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

Yeah, that crate is a good idea, but need some support for PCI/AGP/PCIe cards. ISA/VLB pins have good clamping power to hold cards well.

That's where BitWrangler's Meccano idea is great (also in that thread). Or maybe some additional timber strips from the craft section, depending on how crafty you are.
