Hi!

I have a 486DX ISA PC that boots perfectly with it's PC card and Graphics card installed. IDE and FDD are on the bus board and besides FDD issuues, it works fine in that configuration.

I added an ADAPTEC SCSI card and that also worked fine. Then I added a NI IEEE card and the system stops booting. I do have a variety of these cards, and regardless on what IRQ and DMA I set these, the systems gets stuck in POST 0x4036 before even initializing video.

I tried adding a few different 3COM ISA Ethernet cards with the same problem. I also tested removing the ADAPTEC and using the other cards instead and also I tried different slots. And I also measured the system voltages, just to be sure that the PSU doesn't drop or ripple too much.

The POST codes are a new thing to me, just bought the POST card, but no idea where to continue now...

Thanks for a helpful hint!
