The edge connector looks correct for the deskpro/m but the slot bracket is all wrong. Also it is missing memory on the card.
The edge connector is definitely wrong for the deskpro XL.

Nice odd piece you have. Could be from SystemPro/XL Server as an upgrade board to the 486 cpu board but not much info about it....
Is it a 66Mhz Pentium under that heat sink ? added: the standard cpu for it was a Intel DX50 AFAIK
Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

I assume so, but I don't actually possess it. Just found the pic online
Ok does not look like the SystemPro/XL from the VCFED pictures: https://forum.vcfed.org/index.php?threads/com … -service.77336/
so... what is it from 🤣
Hmm he does not show the "other" cpu board ("One of the CPU boards consistently would give me an error."), maybe it is the second board ??? Same odd "tang" to the rear... very interesting.

He does show both CPU cards in post #3 and they appear identical
Most likely seems to be a 5/66 Processor Board from a ProLiant 2000/4000 - https://web.archive.org/web/19961226013452/ht … e2/plnt2_4.html

It is a Compaq Proliant 2000/4000/4500 Socket 4 Flex MP CPU board.
CPU Boards were availiable with P60/66, P90,P100 and P133 where the Socket 5 boards had a connector for an optional cache upgrade.
I own 3 of these complete systems apart from some spares.
Sytempro/XL is Flex MP as well. The boards should match, even if the brackets may differ.
Flex MP was a Compaq designed multiprocessor platform different from SMP.
These systems are not SMP conpatible and will run Linux only on a sinle core. Windows (NT3.5 and 4) bring a dedeicated Systempro HAL to support these systems.
The other supported OS was a Compaq branded version of SCO Unix.
