Lost Vikings is another.

Orpheus II is Sound Blaster Pro 2 compatible so it supports OPL3 in stereo mode. Dune only works in OPL3 with an AdLib Gold unless you use a hacked driver.

Stonekeep has a really nice OPL3 stereo soundtrack as well. Here's a sample.
To clarify, what I mean is that you get stereo music when using any card which has an OPL3 chip, like a plain SB16 or a YMF719. You don't need an Adlib Gold or something for this game.

ofcourse you get stereo OPL3 playback if the game supports it and actually outputs stereo
@carlostex
any downloads on this Dune OPL3 hacked driver?

Yeah, I only specified that because @sofakng mentioned Dune together with Descent. Dune is a special case and (normally) needs Adlib Gold for OPL3 stereo, while Descent (and many other games including Stonekeep) can play stereo music on any sound card with an OPL3 chip.
As a rule of thumb, I find that if a game specifically allows you to select between OPL2 and OPL3 in setup, there's a good chance that it has stereo music in OPL3 mode.
Just got mine today! I didn't really have a system in mind when I ordered it, but I threw it in the current build I'm messing around with and I'd say it's a perfect fit!
Setup was super easy (other than a RTFM moment figuring out GUS PnP weirdness - much appreciate the pre-configured zip).
Now to see what it can do! 😊
What the heck? I have that case but it’s for PCIe systems!
How are you using that?? 😀

I made a post about it in the thread I have going in System Specs.
On topic: Still having issues with the GUS PNP. It works for anything with tracker music, but it hard crashes whenever something tries to load the default patchset. Haven't done much troubleshooting yet, but I'm not sure what the issue might be. 🤷♂️

I assume you are initializing with ultrasnd.bat and the files are in c:\ultrasnd directory?
Because that sounds like environment variables are wrong and not pointing to the proper direction.

Auhhhggggg. I just tried it in another system (loading off the exact same SD card) and it works perfectly. So that's good. Must be some hardware issue on my other system that I have no idea what it could be. Hrmm.
Edit: Ahahahaha! Figured it out! Wrong ISA Bus Clock speed set in the BIOS such that I was underclocking the bus to 5.55MHz. 😭 Whoopsies!

I’m interested in this driver too. Can you share it?
Possibly a ridiculous question, but... can a Gravis UltraSound Extreme and an Orpheus II co-exist in the same system (assuming DOS only)?
There has been tracker software or players in the past that supported “dual gus” to have 3D positional audio, but it will be a nightmare setting everything up with the required resources.
I don't think I'd want to try to get both to work at the same time. Especially given the reliance on the ULTRASND environment variable some games use. Bootup menus and batch files could handle resource allocations.
I'm just curious if the respective GUS Extreme and GUS PnP drivers would distinguish between the respective cards, or if there is a potentially for some sort of hardware conflict.

It's around here on VOGONS, was posted a while ago by @ripsaw8080. I remember that it bypass the AdLib Gold control chip writes. A quick search and i couldn't find it, its probably buried deep in some thread.

Thanks 😀 it was there, in this specific post: Re: Idea for Adlib Gold emulation?
Neat, thanks!
@keropi, if you give it a try let me know if it with the Orpheus 😀

there is no reason it will not work with the Orpheus - any variant/version 😉
I have been searching for low profile 8MB SIMM module.
I'm aware that card can read only single side. So I found single sided one from ebay - well still card only recognizes 4MB. Quest continues...
Just realized that that new revision R1.1 has metal bracket SIMM slot...
