That one arrived first and finally was able to read the TOC and all except two files (audio). Not bad for a start.

hmm, actually I was able to get them somehow. I'm on macOS and on the lockstock Disk Utility app it shows the drive in two ways. I wasn't able to generate an iso from the disk volume but somehow from the Media volume and from that image I was able to extract the audio files, which in turn were exactly the same as the final release versions 😀
Trying now to read a proper image via Alcohol 120% from a Windows VM (as the one the apple tool read is somehow still problematic)

Edit: and yes, success. Image read in fine!
