Anyone know how to change the reported DOS version that DosBox reports when using the VER command? I want to change it to version 6.22, not version 5.0. Tried to get help for VER command but doesn't appear very helpful. Tried the obvious - 'VER 6.22', but doesn't work.

There aren't any setting in the config file to change the DOS version that I could find.
ah, thanks for the tip. Works perfectly. Strange usage for the VER command though.

Could it be that the Linux package of the 0.72 has a more up to date version then the Windows version?

I scanned the whole file with the text processor application's search command, but it can't find anything like that.

I don't see where that entry would come from, my 0.72 release installation
doesn't have it, and the cvs backlog doesn't show it as well anywhere.
Besides that it should be added 😀
I just re-downloaded .72 for Windows and it is missing from what is current. What I had was from when .72 for Windows was first released.
