I have a 2theMAX Gainward Fantasy FX Dragon 2000, a 8MB Voodoo Rush with Macronix.
This card has a horrible 2D image quality, also on lower resolutions. My other Rush with a Alliance AT25 has a way better 2D image quality.

The Macronix Rush from Gainward always hangs up, if I want to start a game in 3D mode, also tested with the Macronix mod drivers in this thread, also also tested on a slow Pentium 133 system with i430TX chipset.

The Macronix Voodoo Rush is the worst 3dfx card in my collection. The card looks nice (see picture compared to a V5 5500 AGP), but would never use it in a retro system. The Alliance Voodoo Rush is much better in compatibility and image quality.
