Greetings fellow questers!! I recently came upon a very rare CD Talkie version of Willy Beamish for PC, and cannot get it to run!! Anyone here have any experience with this one? I try Dosbox which tells me it can't find the config file, and when using VDMSound I get this nice message: "Unable to initialize hds! mode=4, port=544"

Perhaps it's a bad CD. Clean it up!

fyi Willy CD works in DOSBox for me. It installs a 100kbish cd-dependent client onto the HD, like most cd games at the time.

I take it that it is the DOS version and not the Sega version. Just copy the contents of the CD to a folder on your hard drive. go to that folder and run INSTALL.EXE to setup the game. Run WILLY.EXE in DOSBox to play.
