I'm experimenting with TEXAS INSTRUMENTS - UA7905CKCS in order to provide -5V.
Datasheet does not insist adding caps for recommended implementation. I'm not electrical engineer. Are there any risks involved by omitting caps?
Also in my case with ATX only QDI Legend SS7 MB Pro Audio Spectrum PAS16 card draws very little current on -5V (attached pic). With this current UA7905 even does not get warm to touch.
I probably should test PSU current draw on source -12V rail as well since it supports only 0.3A
