i'm looking at this board https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/acer-m … f-pc-1100-25-33
there is a brown slot in the center of the board.
the manual provided by theretroweb says it's for an external battery.
any thoughts would be appreciated.

MCA slot would be too expensive to something silly as battery, and what battery? ups?
huge board and MCA location says its for proprietary ram expansion
