Not Fullscreen, but larger?

Hi all,

just installed my first DosBox Game. Settlers 1. Great. It works fluent with sound!

My question ist, if it is possible to get a larger DosBox window than the standard one without fullscreen-mode as this does not look great on a widescreen. So i would like full vertical but 4:3 horizontal. 😉
(No, its not possible through my graphics drivers.)

I have not found a possibility yet. 😖

I cant just widen the frame...

Are you that short because I could have found that myself? You ar right, havent looked up the readme, BUT:

Maybe its because I am not a native speaker and I got something wrong, but it still doesnt work:

In the config I changed the "windowresolution" from "original" to "1024x768" - nothing happended. The framesize in windowmode is still the same.
Than I changed the "fullresolution" from "original" to 1024x768" - The framesize in windowmode is still the same and in fullscreenmode its noch fullscreen anymore but 1024x768 BUT not using the full vertical(how to say? - its streched again, but this time not on fullscreen but within the 1024 horizontal)

well i only answered your question 😉
btw to get scaling to work the way you want you need to set output=ddraw
and then windowresolution works.

I don't know, but I think it means DirectDraw.
