I would try installing the driver using the Device Manager tab in System Properties.

Start -> Run sysdm.cpl

or

RIght-click My Computer -> Properties

In the Device Manager tab, double-click on whatever device this driver is for, then on the first tab, click "Reinstall Driver". Follow the instructions in the wizard and point it to the folder that contains these files (specifically NVSTEREO.INF). Finish the wizard and restart your PC. That should do it.

But im not trying to replace a driver, i want to install the Stereo3D alongside the video drvier.

This Stereoscopic 3D is some type of hardware device, right? USB? So when you plug that in, does it appear as an "unknown" type device in Device Manager? If so, yes technically you aren't "replacing" any driver, you are "installing" one, but that's what WinME calls it. As far as I can remember anyway.

No its not a device that appears. Its just a driver, and as long as you have a GeForce card and the 3D glasses you're good to go. So there isnt an unknown device, because there is no device.
You plug in your monitor into the hub, then the hub plugs into your card. The IR emitter is also connected to the hub. The glasses are battery operated.
When i used newer drivers before, or when installing 3D Vision on Windows 7, i install the geforce driver, then i install the stereo driver.

I guess i can try that. Its just that i have the system nicely setup and stable and everything working nicely and im worried about messing something up with a driver.

IIRC there was also one for the shutter glasses that did the synch through a jack plug in the back of the video card, so if it's for that and the hardware ain't there, then it might not initialise.
