Hi, I think this is the right section to post this; I had a problem running Z (1996 game, developed by the Bitmap Brothers). After mounting my C:\OLDGAMES folder as the C drive in dosbox, I get my C:\Z> command. Then I run my Z.bat file but as it runs, it tells me that a critical file is missing (it's main.pac) and that I should verify that the CDrom is in the CD player and that it's closed (but the CD is in).

Thanks for help.

You should also mount the CD drive. Something like:

mount d g:\ -t cdrom -ioctl

(assuming your CD-ROM drive is G: )

Also, adding "-ioctl" to the end of the cd-rom mount line is not required for the game to be played if you use the latest version of DOSBox.

Running Commander Zod under Linux with Networkplay enabled.
Description and dosbox.conf are available in German only at this time

If there are enough requests I would translate the article in English and provide a dosbox.con for Windows, too
