Have recently acquired an in box Creative Blaster MK4014 6X cd ROM drive. It came with original cable and Creative Drivers on floppy disks. But not interphase card. I do have a Reveal sound card controller card that has a Panasonic interface, but I'm having difficulty finding the appropriate Panasonic driver for this set up. I'm running a 486DX with DOS OS.
Any help aquiring a compatible driver for this set up would be appreciated.

Search the Internet Archive for "CD-ROM God" floppy image.

All Panasonic/Matsushita cdroms I ever seen have a CR-###, that MK# is the Creative part. We need the actual CDROM model off it's sticker.....
Are you sure it is not an IDE cdrom ? Panasonic archive does not list a proprietary 6x type

Hate posting a reply and then have to edit it because it made no sense 😁 First computer was an IBM 3270 workstation with CGA monitor. Stuff: https://archive.org/details/@horun

Creative moved to IDE with 4x and up. Only 2x and 1x used Panasonic and required MK driver. Just try a regular driver like OAK.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.
