^ highest I have is the AMD486/100 atm... I used to have more and even a couple of 5x86/133 (or P75 what they were called...) but not anymore... I did get a 4.19v reading with no jumpers at all but it appeared it could be a side-effect... plus I have no 4v cpu to test.... maybe your board is different or maybe we can combine knowledge when you get it and get more results 😀
hopefully you get a newer BIOS as well 😀
I got the tantalums and the LT from a battery-acid-dead mobo that I use to get spares from 🤣 🤣 🤣

I'd love to see an answer to this, this mobo is almost the same as the 486SLE I have ... at least the 3.3v missing parts and area as identical... 😀

I have found the same board Chaintech 486 SLD on ebay yesterday.

And found out, that this board had this regulator on board.
From his basic photos i could find out / see what it really was. Because photo was a kind unclear..

So took the gamble and asked the seller

And it seems to be an LDO Transistor for ST marked as LD1085V

So that mistery seems to be solved.. Now have to look if i can get it running on my board also.

Those ST LD1085V are easy to find and very cheap..

~ At least it can do black and white~
