When pull it out then integrated vga gives signal again. Seems like that cards are overriding signal or disabling integrated vga card. Would be great having cable either DC37 or that 40 pin one or maybe even taking output from vesa 26 pin slot.
Unfortunately I haven't got any.Agreed - the ET4000 cards disbale the onbaord video in my machine also.
I'm luckier in that they just have standrad VGA connectors and have confirmed they work (as far a displaying POST/BIOS)
I'm hoping to find some Windows 3.1 drivers for them...
Here's a better laid out spec page for the system (with options) - https://web.archive.org/web/19971008001613/ht … mmx/indepth.htm
Apparently there were two versions of the system board...the cache-memory card socket (COASt) was populated only on early versions of the Dell Dimension P133a, P166a, M166a, and M200a systems. On later versions, the cache memory chips were soldered directly on the system board.
The basic system board is actually already on The Retro Web, if someone wants to submit some clear photos for inclusion (seems to list the wrong video chip though). A02 BIOS is also available there - https://theretroweb.com/motherboards/s/intel- … x-hannibal-plus
Was right about there not being many files listed for the system, but here's a list of the available download links - https://web.archive.org/web/19970605172909/ht … ilelib/194a.htm
The attached file claims Win 3.x driver support for the Virge/DX, but you might also try Vogons Drivers here - http://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=1713&menustate=0
Also came across a similar card which too seems intended for muli-card / multi-monitor support - https://www.reddit.com/r/vintagecomputing/com … video/#lightbox
