I used these pics in photoshop to put an invert filter on them and they didnt revert to normal coloring so i dont think it's inverse colors but it's definitely making the colors look weird. anyone have any insight on why this is happening?
It's not inverted, it's swapped U/V channels of a YUV image. Not that knowing that is helpful in any way.
How can it be fixed?
Or rather, how can i swap those uvs in photoshop until this issue is fixed internally? I already know a method to replace textures in this game
Unfortunately, swapping the red and blue channels in photoshop didnt work. it still renders the same coloring. I thought that if i made the image have the bad coloring itself, that it will reverse the ingame coloring to the correct coloring. Nope
It's paletted textures. The game seems to feed d3d9 with palettes with r/b components swapped. What if you try another virtual card, like the GF9800?
none of the others work. Game will crash, black screen, or give vram errors when choosing other virtual cards
At the cost of 20fps with enhancement usage (reshade, tesselation lvl2). But I got it to a stable 30 when turning ai frame generation on. I guess that works
Weird because this does not seem to be a demanding game. The cpu does almost nothing (1-2% usage) and the gpu is at max 28-30% for me with forced tess level 3. Must be some timing problem in the game.
Im amd too so that could be contributing as well 🤣. that tesselation is very hard on my system also. i cant go past lvl 2 or ill have 1fps (something that tess by depth 'could' remedy). that makes the models look amazing. having proxying dlls can knock some fps down. all that can add up on an 8gb max vram system i guess.
