I've downloaded the old Hover! game from the Windows 95 disk (you can get it here,) but it freezes up on the splash screen. I can get it working on computers at my school, but it won't work on my computer, even though both are running XP. Does anybody know why this might be?

Hover! works fine in XP here. You may have a vexing problem, maybe related to joystick or WAVEMIX

Hmm, the WAVEMIX configuration program works just fine - could it be causing the problem nonetheless? How would I find out?
