Hi,

Anyone able to shed some light about the difference between these 2 G200s?

They differ in part number, and memory chips seem to be different. Also two connectors are different between them.

Is it an OEM version, or could one be an SG ram version and the other an SD?

If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

I think G2+/MSDP/8 is Millennium G200 PCI with 8MB SDRAM and 250 MHz RAMDAC. One of them is possibly a minor revision.

Thanks for the input, I couldn't find any other info than anything but the AGP version had SG ram.

Gonna do some benchmark of both, just for shits n' giggles, though, in due time 🤣

I recall that the G2+ models being OEM models (for IBM and Compaq, I even had memory modules and DFP modules with Compaq packaging). I've never seen a G200 PCI coming from Matrox themselves (in Matrox packaging), so I'm not sure if that would be labeled G200.
