I'm looking for EXTMEMS.SYS from Softbyte intended for DOS on 8086 CPUs.
What I got is a PC hardware emulator for Atari ST (which is a you probably now a Motorola MC68000 based system). Using hardware addon - Atari ST can relinquish control to the 8086 CPU which resides on hadware addon. The CPU in this emulator is NEC V30, it still use the parts of chipset (GALs) and all of the I/O, graphics of the Atari for emulation. The emulator has been recently HW reversed and it's free to build - following the: http://atari.myftp.org/atari16bit/pcspeed/pcspeed.html (use any translate service for English)
Now for the question: the manual states that I can either use the RAM above 1MB in the emulated PC for RAM Disk , but also mentiones: EXTMEMS.SYS from Softbyte:
<<
Note: Extended Memory is not the same as Expanded Memory! But there are
some special drivers which may exchange Extended to Expanded
Memory, like EXTMEMS.SYS from SOFTBYTE.

Anybody seen, heard, used this EXTMEMS.SYS? Websearch returns TWO hits or returns garbage...
