Writing about it made me go a step further.
If it a GAME port, signals are the same as for any game header, I should find those with a pinout and hope it does have the same pin numbers.

I'll check that, and I do have an Audio connector to test IN/OUT/MIC.
Speaker Out is the easiest.

It's J4. I dealt with this a while ago. IIRC the pins closest to the mobo edge are for the gameport. The pins on the inside are the audio ones. I don't know the exact pinout, but I have the audio connector ribbon cable that has 4x2 pins (or was it 5x2?). Anyways connecting it to the pins in the inside gets audio out of the plugs. You can trace the pinout from there.

I watched some videos on YT and it doesn't look like it is that worthwhile.
I have better ISA cards to use.

It had perfect OPL3 emulation. I couldn't differentiate it from the real deal. Sound quality was generally good too. Digitial SB16 emulation is not very compatible. Many DOS games crash with it. So, a mixed bag...

You know what? Being PCChips and after your answer I'm gonna find the pinout but I'm not going down this path as it is clear it isn't a good one.

The board isn't bad though. PCChips... 😀

I guess it depends. If you're looking for Win9x gaming, it should be ok. I'm 90% DOS gaming, so it won't cut it for me.

Basically same. I've been looking for a good solution regarding DOS gaming but I can't get past a S7. It's good enough with everything.
64 MB of ram, CFs... I don't need Windows. I recon that many dos games just play in W98/2K.
USB support is there too.

I explored the retro dos 286/386/486 but I like Pentium class speed and versatility.
S.370 is ok, but integrated video+sound isn't dos friendly unless you go after the good baords that now cost a bomb, are sought after and unobtainium.

And emulators. They are good.

It's complicated when you have all the pieces to make choices 🤣
