Does Colin McRae Rally 2 work with Nvidia graphics cards in Windows 98/Me? I have installed different drivers on different computers and this game always had serious graphical bugs. I also played around with various settings in the Nvidia Control Panel and nothing helped. Is there any solution to this problem because this is one of my favorite games.

P.S.
Everything works fine on ATi cards.

I only remember having issues in the menus, the game itself played ok. I'll try again later to double check.

Just tested. Fresh install from the retail CD on Athlon 1400, Geforce 256 DDR, Win 98 SE, Nvidia drivers 45.23, no patches or updates. No problems in the menu or playing the game 👍

Yes it does work, the readme.txt even states TNT, TNT2, GeForce 256 and 2 as supported.
What cards have you tried? Maybe they are too recent?

Should work with that too. I had no issues on an FX5200 (essentially the same card) and FX5700. Also works with TNT2, MX440, Ti200 and Ti4200.

The problem stopped occurring when I used the 56.64 drivers. These are the only drivers that do not cause these graphical errors. However, if I use geforce 6000 series cards and newer drivers, the errors come back. Can someone tell me what drivers to use in Windows 98 for geforce 6000?

Avoid the 6000 series for Windows 98. The 2nd batch of the 5000 series (5500, 5700) was already very picky about the drivers, but they at least reliably worked. The 6000 series is just simply too new and by then W98 driver quality just wasn't taken seriously. The 6000 series also dropped legacy features the 5000 series still supported.
