Is there a DOS utility that will read S.M.A.R.T. parameters? The only one listed on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_S.M.A.R.T._tools is Spinrite, but the version 6 I have either isn't doing it, or the drive doesn't support it.
I was going to say Spinrite, Cant remember which version I have it's definitely not the latest.
Seatools has a basic check, it'll at least say if the drive has SMART or not.

Hiren's Boot CD had one or two utilities that did the trick. I remember that one screen in MHDD listed SMART parameters, and other utility showed the parameters as graphic bars.

MHDD does the job, thank you all! Trying this out reminded me of another that I had forgotten about, HDAT2.
