Don't wanna make people instantly hate me, but I am a noob! Ok, now that that's outta the way, I think I'm at least good at following directioins, and I've come to a dead end.

I downloaded DosBox along with good ole Warlords2. I dutifully followed all the instructions for dummies like me, and everything was going well. I get to the point where all I have to do is type in "warlord2 exe" or some variation, and I can't get over the hump. If I type "warlord2 exe" I get a list of letters which seem to correspond to options like, "no startup animation" or "use extended memory," and so on. If I type "warlord2.exe" it seems to try to start the game, but then stays in dos. What am I doing wrong? I have a feeling I might need to tamper with the configurations, but this just raises another problem; any time I try to save changes to the config notepad, my computer plays dumb and can't do it.

Any patient advice would be hugely appreciated. Any surly comp whizes are welcome to mock me if it pleases them. Thanks.

and we don't mind noobs (or they, I am one), as long as they're nice, polite and RTFM or STFW
