I own the PC CD-rom version of this game and can't get it to work.
It doesn't work on Windows 10 with any combination of compatibility settings - it doesn't even reach the launcher.
I can reach the launcher when running it on Windows XP (through VirtualBox) but then I immediately get the error message "aExec System Message Video mode not supported." From some googling I see that VirtualBox isn't made to run old games, and this is one of those games that won't work.

And yet, some people have posted on YouTube walk-throughs of this game on PC and it seems that simple compatibility settings worked for them. How is that possible?
