Hi everyone, I'm new to the group and I hope you can help me with this problem, I purchased FIFA World Cup 98 Italian version original CD as soon as I install it in the PCem virtual machine and start it it says CD error (2) what am I doing wrong?

The game has a CD check as a form of copy protection. You can find a crack somewhere by doing a Google search, or use a disassembler tool like IDA to locate the check and NOP it out.

first of all thank you very much for the answer, in the end I solved it by replacing the executable of the multilingual version with the Italian one and it works very well but it's strange because I have the original CD perhaps it has PCEM problems with this type of protection
