Hi, I have an IBM Thinkpad T41p that has an ATi Mobility FireGL T2 as the gpu
When testing some games, I find that some are slightly under 60 fps whereas the Thinkpad T42 that I have has a Mobility Radeon 7500 and it plays these games way better
for example that happens in Serious Sam both the first and the second encounter, and in Quake 2
Tried to configure the gpu but the panel only has settings for directx
Is there any recommendation on how to proceed? I was thinking on force install the standard radeon driver, but I don't know which card is the equivalent one, also newer drivers from AMD's website doesn't install nor recognize the card in both the T41p and the T42, thermals are fine and everything works alright aside from these differences in SOME games...
