This one specifically is an h8-1222, but I think there's other models that are very similar to this one.

SDIO is able to find and install most of the drivers just fine in XP, but it fails to install on-board audio drivers. I tried it in a vanilla 32-bit XP install a while back, and I tried it again in Integral Edition (also 32-bit) just yesterday. It did manage to get HDMI audio working, but it often cuts off a bit of the sound (at least with the Radeon HD 5450. I'm planning to put a GTX 970 in this soon and I'm not sure if the Nvidia drivers would handle HDMI audio better or not).

The HP site's page for the h8-1222 unfortunately only has drivers listed for 64-bit Windows 7 and 8.

Does anyone know of any drivers, official or unofficial, that can make on-board audio work in XP on a PC like this?

UPDATE: Just installed XP 64-bit, and for the record, I haven't gotten an HDA driver to work on it either.

Anyways, the VEN of the audio device is 111D and the DEV is 76C7. The Ids VEN_8086 and DEV_1C20 are also compatible, according to Windows 7.
