Got it. What a beast. Outer carton is nearly big enough to ship an IBM PC. Case is entirely metal. This is intended for some hardened/mil-spec aplication. Perhaps it's meant to sit inside a tank.

You must install the included 50' of 1/2" cable in order to power it on. It's a bizarre unit. It does not include the stand. Not too difficult to fenagle I suppose. Did I spell something wrong yet? Boots into Win8 Embedded. No sign of Metro though. I'll eventually take it apart for funzies.

They still got them. I don't think I'll be buying anymore. The display is mediocre (the unit is 10 years old about). It's as wide as my 14" Lenovo lt's display. And as tall as my 17.3" Lenovo lt:s display. It's not a landscape ratio.

Perhaps this thing might become a retro/arcade type appliance.

🤣 this thing wasn't intended for the military. But rather auto body shops. it's "hardened" so it can deal with overspray! Still can't get over the 50' cable. And the metal vase/chassis. Built like a brick schnitzel house.
