Hi there,
Already posted this on twitter a while ago, but i thought bringing it to the attention of the folks here might be a good idea too:
I made a Windows 98 Second Edition update disk that only contains the officially released updates by Microsoft back in the day,
since I always had problems with the "Unofficial Service Pack 3.66" or the Auto-Updater from back in the day.
It has no general prerequisites and doesn't update DirectX, Internet Explorer or Windows Media Player to newer versions automatically
but I did include the option and the corresponding updates to do so if needed.
