Hi folks,

I want to have an application in dosbox communicating with the LPT1 port. Right now, it can't communicate with the print system connected to LPT1, but I have nothing configured yet. Do I have to map dosbox' LPT1 port to the real LPT1 port somewhere in the config file (similar to the serial ports)? I've found nothing in the wiki about it...

Parallel port support is mainly ignored by the developers of DOSBox because it really isn't needed for games, and DOSBox is supposed to be for getting old games to run. However there are several builds of DOSBox that address that issue, and address it pretty well. I don't have any links on hand, but I'm sure someone more experienced can point you in the right direction.

Okay, I just found the Jaballa Edition here:

I'll test it (takes some time), but if there are other solutions for parallel support, I'll be glad if someone posts them, for the case that the Jaballa Edition doesn't work.
