Hello, I have had problems in the past with XP dosshell running my old GWBASIC compiler program for CNC code generation. This compiler relies on a dongle RS-232 attached to the CPU. I have since downloaded DOSBOX and it seems to run through but hangs up on and gives me an error SECURITY KEY not attached. Is there something in the config file I need to change to detect the dongle key?

XP will run the compiler but it takes 5 minutes compared to the old CPU's 5 seconds?????????????????????/

Any help would greatly be appreciated.

There are some serial settings you can (have too?) set in the configuration file. Look at the comments embedded in the file, check the README and see if you can get it to work.

If not, head over to http://home.arcor.de/h-a-l-9000/ and try one of his special DOSBox versions.
